A few months ago, ICARO S.A. hired ERA to provide consulting services for the reduction of its operating expenses. So far, ERA has concluded several projects, obtaining significant results in all the expense categories analyzed.
During the execution of each project, ERA performed an extensive analysis of the consumption patterns in ICARO, recommended changes, and identified alternatives and supply sources that represented the best value to satisfy our specific needs. Additionally, ERA’s consultants recommended improvements to our administrative and purchasing systems, and participated actively in the implementation of the recommendations presented in each report.
The general quality of the services rendered by ERA, as well as the financial benefits obtained by our organization after their intervention, fully met our expectations. ERA’s consultants showed a high level of professionalism and they were able to identify sensitive situations between ICARO and its suppliers, and cope with them adequately.

Overview
ICARO SA began in 1971 as a civil aviation school and evolved
in 1980 to a charter fight service for tour operating companies.
In 1982 it was granted a licence to make non-regular cargo and passenger
flights. 1999 saw ICARO become a regional cargo and passenger airline
operating regular routes. Today ICARO SA is Ecuador's largest private
domestic airline, second in market share to state-owned TAME.
